The Brook Park Recreation Department provides all

Recreation News & Events
TURBO KICK-
It's time to Kick, Punch and Jab your way to a more fitter
you! Turbo Kick classes provided by Rock City Dance provide
a combination of intense kick-boxing moves as well as dance
moves all perfectly choreographed to high energy and
motivating music. It is the ultimate cardiovascular
challenge that's a unique blend of intense intervals,
strength/endurance training and a relaxing cool-down. No
prior experience needed. Classes begin on Monday, September
13th from 7pm-7:45pm in the Community Room. Ages 13 years to

EXTREME PUMP-
From Pump It Up Fitness. Strengthen
and tone your entire body with high energy 60 minute
workouts. Extreme Pump is a weight training class to define
and strengthen your muscles. Includes the use of barbells.
Bring your own mat. FREE Demo class Wednesday, September
15th from 730pm until 830pm. Please call Sophia at

IMPORTANT MEMBERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SENIORS-
Effective September
1st, 2010, in order to qualify for the Senior Membership
Rate you must be 61 years of age at the
time of registration.
KOREAN
AMERICAN MARTIAL ARTS- Ages: 5 and up
Monthly fee: $40. Classes held: Thursday 5:45 P.M. - 6:30 P.M. Saturday:
10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. No contracts or membership required. K.A.M.A.
Youth Martial Arts classes provide children with the common values upon
which the martial arts instill: honesty, respect, responsibility,
integrity, courage, tolerance, justice, self-confidence, politeness and

Travel Teams
Travel teams are available for boys and girls for most team sports.
These teams are on a tryout basis only. Contact the Community Center
for more information.
Independent Contract Opportunities
The Community Center is continually looking for individuals to
instruct or lead programs or have specific skills to offer. If you are
interested, contact the Community Center.
Volunteers
There are many volunteer opportunities available for people of all
ages and interests. With so many projects and programs to choose from,
there's bound to be something of interest to you or your group. To
